Sea Watch 1414

We had another amazing vacation in Ocean City staying at the Sea Watch. The only suggestions I would have for unit 1414 would be a stand or shelving in the kitchen; move the coffee pot over to that plug and have a place for groceries. The TVs were very difficult to understand and operate. That den area I would suggest they close off and actually make a third bedroom.

Condo, full kitchen, two full baths and sleeps 8 people.

We loved our stay in Sea Watch Condos #1414.Awesome view. Convenient parking garage with security ,right on the beach and great location close to stores and restaurants. Tons of amenities such as movie theatre, game room and little deli store that served breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks. Outside pool and inside pool. The only thing was the kiddie pool was not open which wasnt a huge deal as my daughter is big enough to get in big pool with a floaty in the shallow section but the bigger kids were playing football (almost hitting our guest in the face) my daughter was right in front of her. They also were doing cannonballs which there were rules posted at both inside and outside pool that no one followed at all for the pool area.There was girl that was with sea watch that sat there she wasnt a life guard per day but she never said a word about all the big kids breaking the rules and the parents said nothing either.Kiddie pool would have been great if it was open. Also the beds were not comfortable. The twins were really bad. King bed was okay. We did not try the pull out couches since a previous review said they were not comfortable. Also I do not think anyone cleaned the balcony outside furniture. We went out in the dark and when we came back in we had black stuff on needless to say we did not sleep well at all but overall great condo, great location, great view and great amentities. The realty company was great as well and super friendly.

Could use a little update

Great experience! The condo was clean, steps from the beach and had everything we needed! The kitchen was so well stocked with pots, pans and bakeware. It had cleaning tools (sweeper, brooms etc) as well. The extra items in the laundry closest were so appreciate and not expected (sand toys, cart, extra kitchen, etc.)

We have stayed in various units in the Sea Watch over the past 15 years, sometimes staying twice in the same year. In all that time, we only had 1 bad experience which was quickly addressed. The rental company we used previously is no longer in business so we used Century 21 this year. The staff were exceptional over the phone, via email and in person. Unfortunately, the condo unit we rented was not in the condition we expected. We reported 7 or 8 items on the second day of our trip and none were corrected during our 9 day stay other than replacing a damaged toaster. As the week wore on, more things were found. The list included missing light bulbs, a very slow running sink in the bathroom, no lights working on the microwave, broken socket lamp lights, moldy bath liner & curtain, dirty countertops & ceiling air filters, drapes too long and dragging on the floor--very dirty & unsafe, etc. We expected some items as it is the end of the busy rental season, but we really did not expect what we found. There is a cleaning fee assessed to renters, but if the unit was truly being thoroughly cleaned, many of the dirty, missing or broken items should have been found at that time and fixed prior to our arrival.

We have a family of 5 and this was our second year staying in this unit. The unit is beautiful and we had an amazing time. We will definitely be back next year!

Had multiple concerns with the unit during our stay- one of the toilets was not flushing properly all the time, the AC unit was incredibly loud and sounded like it could die at any time and overall the whole unit was old and dated. Horrible mattresses. We were unable to be in the unit one afternoon while the toilet was replaced. We would not book the unit again.

Room was not cleaned we called and complained they said the owners were there last they said they cleaned it. So we cleaned it ourselves my wife has her own cleaning business. For future reference in my personal experience of renting places for 25 years I would never trust what the owner say always send someone to check the room just in case. Thursday night we found out the dryer did not work we called it into century 21 they send somebody up from the sea watch it couldn’t be fixed so we have to take our clothes Friday night and Saturday to be dried that was 14 dollars. Other than those issues we had the room not being cleaned and the dryer being broke we did have a good time.
